Hi, I’m AJ Dunne
AJ Dunne is an avid reader and has had a passion for books her entire life.
As a young girl, AJ created characters in her mind to escape the realities of a traumatic childhood.
As an adult, she uses those same characters as inspiration throughout her writing.
A happily married mother to three amazing adult children and two Dogue De Bordeaux fur babies, AJ is a country girl through and through. She loves listening to country music and owns a magnificent and treasured collection of cowboy boots – all with
their own story woven into many of her stories.
She lives in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, and when she is not writing, you can find her at one of her two businesses – Nambour Heights Butchery and
Nambour Heights Gifts & Christmas Shop.
J is an incredibly creative person, being a qualified cake decorator and owning her own candle label. In her downtime, she enjoys sewing, quilting, cross stitching, diamond painting and embroidery, swimming, and going to the gym to keep her energy levels up.
Her accomplishments have been many, but she proudly says
her greatest achievements have been so much sweeter with the constant love and support of her wonderful husband and children.

We stock our own soy candle label that are unique and exclusive to only our store. Along with the candles we produce our own soy tealights, wax melts and bath bombs.
Our gift shop also has a beautiful range of greeting cards, reed diffusers, notebooks, socks, baby gifts, inspirational items and so much more. We are also the local stockist of the Australia Didgeridoonas cooler bag range.

Nambour Heights Butchery is a retail butcher shop supplying residents of Nambour and the Sunshine Coast with mouth-watering cuts of the freshest Australian meat on the market.
Combining old-fashioned service with extensive industry experience, our family owned and operated business provides customers with tender lamb, lean turkey, grass-fed beef, free range chicken, juicy pork and succulent duck!
All of our fresh produce is butchered on site using traditional methods and delivered to our huge wholesale customer base, from Caloundra in the South, to Noosa in the North, and West into the hinterlands. We also offer over the counter service and will carry purchases to customer cars when required.
